Building Industry Association of Orange County (BIA / OC)
The Orange County Chapter of the Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIA/OC) is a non-profit trade association representing more than 900 companies employing 112,000 people affiliated with the home building industry. The BIA/OC is one of one of seven chapters and eleven councils that make up the BIA of Southern California (BIA/SC).

 

BIA of Southern California (BIASC)
A non-profit trade association representing 1,800 member companies with more than 250,000 employees, working to ensure success in building homes for Southern Californians. The BIASC is comprised of seven chapters: Antelope Valley, Baldy View, Desert, Los Angeles-Ventura, Los Angeles-East, Orange County and Riverside County.

 

Sales & Marketing Council of Southern California (SMC/SC)
A non-profit educational affiliate of the Building Industry Association of Southern California. SMC/SC members must be employees of BIA-member firms.

 

National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)
A Washington, D.C. based trade association representing more than 205,000 residential home building and remodeling industry members. NAHB is affiliated with more than 800 state and local home builder associations around the country.

 

California Building Industry Association (CBIA)
CBIA is a statewide trade association representing nearly 6,000 businesses – homebuilders, remodelers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, designers, and other industry professionals that generate approximately $40 billion a year to the California economy and create an estimated 360,000 jobs statewide.

Job-Center Housing Coalition
The Job-Center Housing Coalition is promoting statewide legislative reforms and policies that aim to increase housing supply and affordability, particularly in the state’s urban areas where jobs are located, by removing barriers to housing production.

 

Trade Contractor’s Council (TCC)
Employees of BIA member companies are eligible to join the TCC, which provides a forum for discussing industry-related and business development issues and networking opportunities tailored specifically for the trades, such as builder/trade contracts, skilled labor shortage, overtime wages and worker’s compensation insurance.
