School Site Grants
The Home Builders Council (HBC) of the Building Industry Association of Southern California offers grant opportunities to construction technology programs at the
high school, Regional Occupational Program or Community college levels. The funding focus for the grants include, support the enhancement of an existing program,
or a special classroom project.
If your school offers construction related programs and you are interested in being one of our selected schools, please contact Kathy Johnson, Co-Chair of
Scholarships for HBC to obtain a grant application.

Light Construction and Development Management (LCDM) - UC Irvine Extension
HBC works closely with UC Irvine Extension on the Light Construction and Development Management (LCDM) Certificate Program. Since the program was created in the late 1970's, more than 430 students have graduated with a certification needed to enhance skills of residential and commercial construction management.
